While naturally covering virtually every part of our adult bodies, sometimes hair can be dark, course and appear on the face, neck, breasts, back, underarms, legs, abdomen and bikini line.

This diode laser hair removal system is the state-of-the art treatment for the effective reduction of unwanted body hair for both women and men—completely eliminating the need to pluck, shave, wax or use harsh chemical depilatories.

The FDA-approved Light Sheer Laser is specifically designed for all skin types to successfully remove hair faster, with less discomfort and far more reliably than traditional methods, which are only temporary solutions to a permanent problem.

While electrolysis has been a popular treatment for long-term hair removal, it’s a time consuming procedure, which can be painful and is only useful for the removal of hair in small areas.

As patients relax in the treatment room, Patty focuses a beam of highly concentrated light onto affected areas. The diode laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles for just a fraction of a second—but long enough to heat and significantly impede the follicle’s ability to re-grow.

Heat discomfort caused by the laser is minimized with a special contact-cooling device that protects and cools the upper layers of the skin before, during and after each laser pulse. Topical anesthesia may be an option for patients with higher sensitivity. Side effects, if any, are minimal and may include temporary redness and swelling around the treated area.

The length of each session may last between several minutes to an hour or so, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. Desired results can usually be seen within six-nine visits.

Prices vary.
