Latisse is s a prescription medication that, when applied to the base of eyelashes, generate longer, thicker augmentation. It can also be used to treat a condition called Hypotrichosis —or inadequate eyelash growth.

The active ingredient in Latisse is Bimatoprost—a prostaglandin used in eye drop treatments for glaucoma.

The product works gradually from the inside out, with full results achieved after 12 to 16 weeks. Once patients begin treatment, they must continue applying the topical solution each evening and follow directions as advised by Lisa.

In clinical trials, some users experienced itchy eyes and redness. However, some found that these irritations diminished once becoming accustomed to the product.

In a clinical study, 78% of participants experienced significant increase in overall eyelash enhancement including length, fullness, and darkness at week 16.
