Hyaluronic acid (HA) is an important substance that is present in every cell of our bodies and performs many crucial functions. In the skin, it attaches to collagen and elastin keeping it moist and promoting a supple, youthful appearance.

Also a natural sugar, hyaluronic acid retains water absorbing more than 1,000 times its weight. Because it’s natural, there is no need to test the skin prior to injection.

With a fine needle Lisa carefully injects Juvederm into areas of the skin, which require filling. The result is immediate and last six-nine months. There are two formulations of the product—Ultra, a versatile treatment that is perfect for less pronounced wrinkles and folds, and Ultra Plus, a higher concentrated cross-linked treatment that fills deeper creases of the dermis with the same fabulous results. The product also works wonders on aging lips.
